I'm based in hollywood,FL. smaller shoots are done in my backyard studio, while larger shoots will be scheduled elsewhere. I can also travel to you.
At the age of twelve I got my first camera. I still remember thinking how it was the best gift I've ever received. What followed was a new kind of magic - waiting to have the film developed every month. I knew back then that photography was what I meant to do.
I was born and raised in a small town in South Africa. My upbringing was very close to nature for which I will be forever grateful. Yet I dreamed of seeing the world from a very young age. As I stepped into adulthood, I was lucky enough to find an opportunity to work and travel the world.
While working in India that I met my now-husband. When he had to return to the US, I followed — and I haven't looked back since.
I have been a career photographer in South Florida since 2013. As a long time dog mom, one of my favorite things is a beautiful studio photograph of my dog Lulah. In 2024 had the privilege of becoming the mother of an amazing child. I realized the importance of family photography, but how our beloved pets are rarely involved. Let's change that.
My Style
The beauty in simplicity is what I like to emphasize,
along with the use of negative space, subtly enhanced soft shadows and neutral palettes.
My Approach
I aim for a good variety of shots — posed and candid, serious and silly. I'll guide the session, but never force it. Working with kids and dogs, it's best to go with their flow.
